The Palaszczuk Government is commissioning a Parliamentary Inquiry into vapes and vaping in Queensland, including the health impacts and its use among young people.
The inquiry will particularly investigate vaping use among young Queenslanders and current measures being undertaken in schools to discourage vapers.
Vaping is a relatively new trend but not enough is known about the long-term health risks.
Although many vaping products are marketed as nicotine free, it’s not always the case, and e-cigarettes can contain other chemicals found in nail polish remover.
